Webster Union Cemetery will be celebrating its 200th anniversary!
To recognize this milestone a celebration is planned for Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Rain or shine. Admission free.
The family-friendly day will showcase activities including a demonstration on how to clean a headstone, a presentation about the history of the cemetery including interesting history about Webster.
Meet some of our more notable residents including a suffragette, a 1918 Spanish flu victim, a boardinghouse owner, and a Revolutionary spy (portrayed by actors).
There are so many heroes’, military and non-military, and a small representation will be displayed on the Hero’s Path.
You will have the opportunity to chat with the cemetery’s board members who are willing to share the cemetery’s rich history.
